Days 6-7: Williamsburg

Eat...little, but drink a lot (Holy heat!)

Pray...we don't die on these crazy roller coasters!

Love...the thrill!

After a LATE night (1am), we got up nice and early to have an extraordinary day at Busch Gardens. We had a blast! All the boys were brave enough to try every ride and loved them! Emma was tall enough to go one 1--the Loch Ness Monster--that went through 2 loops and multiple corkscrews! She did it numerous times. There aren't many pictures of the boys because they were so busy running from one ride to the next. Lizzie, on the other hand, was photographed over and over because she was so cute and feeling so independent going on rides by herself. She especially loved the Grover Roller coaster.

The only show we were able to catch on Wednesday was the Loggin' Drummers. Carter actually got called up from the audience 2 different times!

Lizzie was an animal running from one ride/slide to the next! She had a blast!

The Alpengeist! Holy! I had to take a break for a bit after riding this one!

Is this the coolest ride position ever?!

This is the 3rd picture in a series I took of the kids on this ride. Emma has lost her smile by this one and I think Braxton was opening his mouth to fake himself out and make others think he was yelling for fun. Evan and Carter were all for the thrill!
Carter's second appearance on a stage. He's dancing to the beat! It's so fitting that he happened to be wearing his RockBand shirt!
This is how Lizzie cruises through life. She seems happiest with one thumb in her mouth and the other hand holding someone else's.
My cute girls.
Saying good-bye for day!

Aaah, Williamsburg. Because we weren't willing to fork out another $150 to walk down the official street, we were very limited in out sightseeing, but we enjoyed what we could.
Looking patriotic...
guilty...
playful...
helpful...
victorious...

hot and in need of some old-fashioned rock candy...

cute in front of a real cotton plant! I couldn't believe the beautiful flowers it produces!
We were hot and sweaty, so we packed ourselves up, ate a quick lunch, and headed over to the water park associated with Busch gardens. Super fun! Unfortunately, they closed the park 3 hours after we arrived because of a huge storm approaching. So, because we had purchased the multiple day pass, we headed back to Busch gardens to see some shows and ride whatever we could. The storm was intense for quite a while, but eventually it stopped and had nearly cleared out the park. With the last hour and a half left, the boys ran to all of the big rides, Steve and I took turns with the girls or girl ...

And then met back together to watch the fireworks from the bridge in "Italy".

Phew!
