11 year old scout camp

Evan finally got to go on his first 11 year old scout campout. As it happened with Braxton...it rained. Steve has yet to go on a campout with the 11-year old scouts and NOT have it rain!!! Unbelievable! Needless to say, Evan had a blast and even reported that he had no idea scout campouts were so fun!

Braxton and his troop camped nearby, so Steve did double duty going back and forth between the two camps. The boys all had a good time, did a service project, had fun at the campfire, and came home raving about the dutch oven desserts. Life is good!

Can you tell how excited Steve is about this?! His enthusiasm is a little frightening.
