My boys, Braxton and Evan, were cast in the middle school's spring musical, Bye Bye Birdie. They had an absolute blast! Evan was in the Teen Chorus as was Braxton, who also was Karl in the "Talk to Me" quartet. Braxton's voice has dropped so low, that he can now sing as low (if not lower than) Steve. The music director actually rewrote the harmonies at the end of the quartet's song in order to feature Braxton's range. I have tried to post the video, but can't seem to get it. The musical was terrific! Because our middle school allows a church to meet in it on Sundays, our musical directors asked permission to use their stage, their professional sound and light systems, and their screens. What a difference it makes! They also have a live orchestra play the music. Unbelievable!
We had so much fun watching our boys have fun on stage!
