Now that we are living near Steve's parents AND his sister (Rexburg), we only needed one more piece to complete our puzzle. :) Julene and her kids decided to come down when the weather was nice in the fall and not brave our winters. Ryan could only make it for 2 days, but we were thrilled to have him as long as we did. We ate some good food, talked, laughed, cried, and had a little fun.
At the park, I started taking pictures of the kids and a sweet lady offered to allow me to jump in. Notice our surprise when Lynette handed out t-shirts for each and every one of us! They all say "Birds of a feather, flock together" on the back. This was a pretty momentous occasion as we had not been together for a few years.
Check out this line of posterity!

A trip to the zoo--to check out other birds :)
Grandpa always gives the funniest reactions!
After the zoo, we all got dressed up and coordinated and headed out to this awesome barn for some photo opportunities.

We really had a good time and are looking forward to doing it again. I am a lucky lady to have married into this good family. Let's hope it won't take years before the next time we do it again.
We miss you, Julene!
