Cub Scout Blue & Gold Banquet 2011
Carter and Steve went to the annual Blue and Gold Banquet last Thursday. The theme was Backward's Birthday Bash. So, we thought the opposite or backwards idea of birthday would be death-day. So, they did a graveyard with an open tomb. They only had 15 minutes to decorate the cake while at the church. I thought they were very creative, but they won no awards. I think this is the first time we've come away empty handed! Oh, well. It still tasted great!
